Code of Conduct
- Understand, appreciate and abide by the rules of the game.
- Respect the integrity and judgment of game officials and staff.
- Respect your opponent and congratulate them in a courteous manner following each match whether in victory or defeat.
- Be responsible for your actions and maintain self-control.

I haven’t played dodgeball since elementary school gym class. Remind me of the rules?
While rules can vary, we will be adhering to the below rules. The object of the game is to eliminate all opposing players by getting them "OUT". This may be done by:
- Hitting an opposing player with a LIVE thrown ball below the shoulders.
- Catching a LIVE ball thrown by your opponent before it touches the ground.
Definition: LIVE: A ball that has been thrown and has not touched anything, including the floor/ground, another ball, another player, official or other item outside of the playing field (wall, ceiling, etc).
- During play, all players must remain within the boundary lines, except to retrieve stray balls. Balls must be thrown behind the attack line. Any balls thrown in front of the attack line will yield no person out and subsequently no points. Live balls can be caught by an opponent in front of the attack line.
Deliberately throwing a ball at someone’s head will result in immediate and permanent removal from the venue with no refund.
THE OPENING RUSH
Game begins by placing the dodgeballs along the center line – three on one side of the center hash and three on the other. Players then take a position behind their end line. Following a signal by the official, teams may approach the center line to retrieve the balls. This signal officially starts the contest. Teams may only retrieve the three balls to their right of the center hash. Once a ball is retrieved it must be taken behind the attack-line before it can be legally thrown.
TIMING AND WINNING A GAME
The first team to legally eliminate all opposing players will be declared the winner. A three-minute time limit has been established for each round. If neither team has been eliminated at the end of the three minutes, the team with the greater number of players remaining will be declared the winner. Each set of teams will play for 10 minutes. The team with the most wins in those 10 minutes will be deemed the winner. If teams are tied, there will be a sudden death game to determine match winner. Teams will switch ends of the court between every game.

Roller derby gear and more!
Got roller derby stuff to sell? Want to buy some cool new stuff? Check this out! Don’t have anything to sell? FREE admittance to buyers!
How much is it? $10 registration gets you a 10’x10’ space. Fit as much as you want in this space!
What time can I set up? Doors will open to vendors at 11:00am
What can I sell? Anything you think derby folk will like! That includes: derby gear, workout clothes/videos/small equipment, shoes, new socks/tights, jewelry, bags, other apparel, movies, music, videos, stickers, posters, picture frames, knick-knacks. You can also sell derby-related crafts!
Is there anything I can’t sell? Please do not bring bras, underwear, swimwear, socks or tights unless it still has the tags on. Also refrain from large furniture and household items (electronics, appliances, kitchenware, etc.)
How much should I price the items for? If an item is used, it should be priced low, like yard sale prices. New items can be priced a little higher, but please remember the higher the price, the harder it will be to sell.
What else do I need to bring? Bring your own table, chair, and cash box with change.
What happens to the stuff I don’t sell? We will happily take any clothes, shoes, jewelry, or bags you want to donate. We are partnering with The Perfect Fit to donate professional clothes, and Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley for the rest of the clothing. All other items must leave with you.
